For October Modernism Weekend 2025, Shag (Josh Agle) releases a tribute to famed architect, John Lautner, and the Lautner Compound created in the city Desert Hot Springs of the Greater Palm Springs area in 1947.

John Lautner is one of Shag's favorite mid-century modern architects and his desert compound, originally a prototype for a large desert community, is now a boutique hotel and event venue for all to enjoy.

In this limited-edition fine art print, John Lautner is seen in the foreground with a view of the Lautner Compound.

There were 15 passes of bright ink colors for added depth and better color saturation for this serigraph fine art print. Serigraph printing is an intensive process that utilizes a silk screen technique to recreate an original artwork on special archival paper so you can have Shag’s (Josh Agle) artwork for lifetimes of enjoyment.
